Terms of use and disclaimer
Version 1.0. Last updated 2 October 2026. These Terms apply to the website at meatproxycertification.org and to everything it produces, including certificates, badges and emails. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
This site is satire. Nothing it issues is a real certification, qualification, accreditation or licence. The Guild of Tenured Meat Proxies does not exist; it is a joke run by TyDData LLC. These Terms are the part that is not a joke.
1. What this site is
Meat Proxy Certification is a satirical website. It parodies the practice of approving the actions of AI coding agents without reading them, and the industry of professional certification. The "exam" is a joke, the "certifying body" is fictional, and the "certificate" is a novelty item. The site is accredited by nobody but itself, and it says so on every certificate.
2. The certificate is not a credential
A certificate from this site is not a qualification, certification, accreditation, licence, endorsement or assessment of any kind. It does not show that the person named has any skill, has passed any genuine test, or has any connection with this site: anyone can produce a certificate with any name by holding the Enter key, and the certificate page says so. It confers no competence, no employability and no rights.
You must not present a certificate, badge or anything else from this site as genuine to an employer, client, regulator, educational institution, or anyone else. If you choose to put it on a CV, a professional profile, a job application or a public page, that is your decision and your responsibility, and you must keep the word "parody" attached to it wherever you put it. The share text and profile text the site offers already carry that word for this reason.
3. Who may use the site
The site is intended for adults, that is, people aged 18 or over. We do not check ages on the public pages, but the email feature requires you to confirm that you are 18 or older, and you must not use it if you are not.
4. The service is free and provided as is
The site is free of charge. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability or non-infringement, to the extent such warranties can be excluded. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time without notice, including the email feature, which is limited to a small number of messages a day and may be unavailable.
5. Acceptable use
When using the site you must not:
- enter an email address that is not your own, or that you are not authorised to use;
- enter another person's name on a certificate without that person's permission;
- use a certificate, badge, share text or any other output of the site to impersonate, harass, defame or make statements about a real person, or to suggest that a real person or organisation endorses or is connected with this site;
- use the site to send unsolicited messages, or to test, probe or overload the site or its email feature;
- interfere with the site's operation, bypass its limits, or attempt to make it contact anyone it would not otherwise contact.
We may refuse service, block names and email addresses, and remove certificates from rendering, at our discretion and in particular on request from the person concerned. Reports go to [email protected].
6. Other people's names and marks
Product and company names mentioned on this site (for example in the names of exam tracks) belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products being parodied. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. The site uses no logos, wordmarks or brand designs of any other party. Fictional testimonials are labelled as fictional. Invented statistics are labelled as invented.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, TyDData LLC is not liable to you or to anyone else for any loss or damage of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary, and including loss of data, loss of profit, loss of employment or reputation, and the consequences of any action an AI coding agent takes, arising from or in connection with the use of this site, any certificate or other output of it, reliance on anything on it, or becoming, claiming to be, or acting as a meat proxy. If you approve something you did not read, that is on you.
What the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you. Depending on where you live, that can include liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you are a consumer, you keep every protection that the law of the country in which you normally live gives you and does not allow to be waived, and nothing here reduces those protections. Where a limitation in this section is not permitted, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.
8. Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or from the use of the site, are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of provisions of your home country's law that cannot be departed from by agreement, and it does not stop you from bringing a claim in your own courts where the law gives you that right.
9. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part is to be read as narrowly as needed to make it valid, or removed if that is not possible, and the rest of the Terms continue to apply.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. The version number and date at the top of this page change when we do. Changes apply from the date they are published on this page; continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the changed Terms. No change will be applied retroactively to mailing-list consent, which is governed by the consent text you ticked.
