We read these mailboxes regularly but not continuously. There is no telephone number and no live chat.
Reporting misuse of a name or address
Anyone can create a certificate page with any name, and anyone can type any email address into the email form. If your name appears on a certificate without your permission, or you received a certificate email you did not request, write to [email protected].
- Names. Tell us the name exactly as it appears. We add it to the site's block list, after which no certificate page will render it. We do not need, and do not want, proof of identity for this; we block on request.
- Email addresses. Every email we send carries a link that blocks the address permanently, with no sign-in. If you would rather write to us, tell us the address and we will block it. The privacy notice explains what is kept to make the block work.
- Impersonation or harassment. Tell us where the certificate or badge is being used and we will block the name. We cannot remove content from other websites, but blocking the name makes the certificate link stop working.
Reporting a security problem
If you find a security vulnerability in this site or its email feature, please email [email protected] with enough detail to reproduce it. This address and its expiry date are published in /.well-known/security.txt (RFC 9116). We ask that you do not access, change or delete other people's data, do not send messages to addresses you do not control, and give us a reasonable time to fix the problem before publishing it. We will acknowledge your report, keep you informed, and credit you if you wish. We do not run a bug bounty and cannot pay for reports; the site is run on no budget, deliberately.
Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, United States), which also provides DNS and the Turnstile bot check on the email form. Certificate emails are sent through Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, United States). The contact mailboxes are hosted by Proton AG (Switzerland). What each of them holds is set out in the privacy notice.
